Terms of service

Chawlk is operated by Luxus & Invoco, Inc. (“Chawlk,” “we,” or “us”). These terms cover our website, web app, and cloud services. By using these services, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

Accounts and teams

Chawlk is designed for coaches and team staff. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must authorize your use. You must have authority to act for any team or organization you represent and to make any purchase on its behalf.

Keep your sign-in information secure and your account information accurate. Use individual accounts and team invitations to give coaches access. Team administrators are responsible for managing membership and permissions. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Your footage stays yours

You retain your rights to videos, audio, drawings, and other content you upload. You give Chawlk permission to host, process, copy, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service, including replay, team sharing, and exports. This permission does not give us the right to sell your footage or use it in advertising without separate permission.

You are responsible for having permission to record, upload, and share your content, including any permissions required by parents or guardians, participants, venues, leagues, or applicable law. Do not record private spaces or upload content that infringes someone else’s rights. Chawlk does not obtain those permissions on your behalf.

Authorized team members can view and, where permitted, download or export film. Copies shared outside Chawlk are outside our control. Only invite people you intend to have access.

Subscriptions and trials

The price, billing period, team allowance, and storage allowance are shown before checkout. Prices are in U.S. dollars; any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Where offered, the 14-day trial requires a payment card. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to the paid plan you selected. Subscriptions then renew automatically at the stated price and billing interval until canceled. Trial eligibility is determined by the service; a previous subscription may make a team or organization ineligible.

You can cancel through Manage billing in the Chawlk web app. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues through the paid period or trial end shown in the billing portal. Deleting the app or signing out does not cancel a subscription. Cancel your subscription before deleting your account. Contact [email protected] if you cannot access billing.

Cancellation does not automatically refund an already-paid period. Contact support about an incorrect charge or refund request; any rights to a refund under applicable law remain unaffected. We will notify you of a subscription price change before it applies to a future renewal, and you may cancel before that renewal.

Storage and access

Team plans include 100 GB of cloud storage. Club plans include 100 GB per purchased team, pooled across the club; pooled storage does not give one team access to another team’s film. Original and replay files count toward storage. Temporary generated export files do not. Additional storage, when offered, is purchased separately; we do not automatically charge overage fees.

Uploads may stop when storage is full or cloud access expires. Keep your own copies of important footage and export it before ending access. Canceling a subscription does not itself delete your account or shared team footage. Account, clip, and game deletion are separate actions, described in our Privacy Policy. Generated web export downloads expire after one day; this does not delete source clips.

Using Chawlk responsibly

Do not use Chawlk for unlawful activity, harassment, exploitation, or unauthorized surveillance. Do not upload malicious files, bypass team permissions or storage limits, interfere with the service, or access other users’ accounts or film without authorization. Report harmful content, privacy concerns, or suspected copyright infringement to support with enough information for us to locate and investigate the issue.

Recording and replay availability

Cloud recording, remote controls, and sideline replay require compatible devices and an internet connection. Replay timing depends on upload speed, network availability, device conditions, and processing. “Live replay” means access to completed plays as they become available; it does not promise uninterrupted live broadcasting or a guaranteed delivery time. Chawlk is not an official officiating or emergency system.

We work to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every recording or transfer will succeed. To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension, changes, and ending use

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security issue, unpaid charges, or a legal requirement. Where practical, we will explain the issue and allow you to resolve it. You may stop using Chawlk at any time. Subscription cancellation and account deletion must be completed separately.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms and effective date here and provide notice of material changes before they take effect, except when an urgent legal or security change requires earlier action. We will seek additional agreement where required by law.

Apple app license

The iPhone and iPad app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a different license is supplied with the app. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace Apple’s applicable terms. Chawlk, not Apple, provides the Chawlk service and support.
