Challenged God to a duel. Lost.

Men are Martians. Woman are Venutians

....And that makes life very interesting

"Please baby, just one more time"

Ben Gray posted to his blog the other day at Open Switch. Here are what I had posted to his comments.

Jesus Christ lives. That is sufficient.

The lights went dark. Someone screamed.

Excalibur was pulled. What now Arthur?

A new day dawns in glory.

Fear was born into the world.

Dark were the days of Númenor.

It was the end of time.

And then there were no more.

What is this that I see?

There is no end in sight.

Do you beg for more now?

And some new ones...

Tomorrow never came. Today lives on.

What is this fear of death?

All I saw was chocolate fudge.

Sleep to die. Live to dream.

Stop the dripping of the blood.

The last moment is coming soon.

He never finished this story.

Now the story is just right.

Like I posted at Ben Gray's post REALLY short stories

Jesus Christ lives. That is sufficient.
The lights went dark. Someone screamed.
Excalibur was pulled. What now Arthur?
A new day dawns in glory.
Fear was born into the world.
Dark were the days of Númenor.
It was the end of time.
And then there were no more.
What is this that I see?
There is no end in sight.
Do you beg for more now?

And some new ones...

All I saw was chocolate fudge.
He never knew what hit him.
What is this fear of death?
Tomorrow never came. Today lives on.
Atomic bomb dropped. End of story.
And he lost his keys again.
He never finished this story.
But this story is just right.

sorry for the double post. my first one never appeared until after the second attempt. under the new ones some are different between the two posts

The iPod beeped twice, then exploded.

No life flashed before my eyes.

The brown-haired hyena laughed hysterically

Her veiled truth was brushed aside.

Hands touched what they couldn't grasp.

Running up hill, jack fell down.

His lostness was attractive to her.

Her karma filled the small space.

Their audible hatred was deep red.

Stolen memories belong to Alzheimer's disease.

Lack of trust dooms all relationships.

He died the way she wanted.

He didn't understand, so she pushed.

The anxiety between them was exhausting.

Opposites attract she continued to pray.

They constrained. She reacted. She became.

Tomorrow would be like today, red.

It was love at first sight.

Then we came to the end.

They even stole the toilet paper.

Shut kitty in with her. Needy.

You were eaten by a Grue.

Imagination, your enchantment, rekindles my spirit.

I Stumbled across this one. Seven words but to good to neglect. It was written in response to an assignment to write a short story that included: sprituality, sexuality and mystery.

Good God, I'm pregnant. Who's the father?

My own contributions are not so clever.

Sent to Iraq. Never came back.

Married, had to.
Carried, had two.

Hatched, fed.
Matched, wed.
Patched, dead.

When doomed, riches become dreadfully hollow.

The sun always rises tomorrow morning.

Lifelong love now lost, she grieves.

Even the flowers didn't fully bloom.

There was nothing left to say.

The siren wailed and it began.

She carefully turned off the world.

Bombs drop. Fields burn. Famine ensues.

After many years it still pulsed.
