Getting the best out of Vanilla

I've been playing around with Vanilla as a lightweight forums solution and I've just created a fresh install. If you've not come across Vanilla yet and you're looking for a neat little discussion board I recommend taking a look.

I'm now wondering what the best extensions for it are. Does anyone have any experience using Vanilla? Which extensions would you recommend by default?

the ones that do what you need? :)

I tried Vanilla out, but I much prefer the look of a 'standard' forum. But I've continued to be amazed at the amount of extensions that Vanilla has, especially considering it's not that old of a product, and the relatively small size of the user community.

I would Better BBCode and the Jquery extensions!
