Hi! I was told to ask here by Lelia. I've got a domain, http://xerx.es. It's a wordplay on "Xerxes". I'm hoping to sell it, but I don't know what it's worth. Anyone got any ideas?

It's a cool domain, but unfortunately the .es TLD is usually reserved for spanish language domains and that is where the problem lies. I would put it up on a domain auction site that allows reserves and set a reserve you are comfortable leaving the site with, but I couldn't see you getting more than a $1,000 for it.
There are probably better places to ask that specifically handle the selling of domains, unfortunately I can't think of any off the top of my head.

domainstate.com is where I sold a domain name I had.
Hope that helps. I wouldnt wager the domain is worth loads due to the two x's and its slightly convoluted nature. Its not going to garner an income from ads?
You could host it on sedo to check though. sedo also lists domains for sale, so do a price comparison :)

Personally I want things spelled out how they are supposed to be spelled. This whole drop some letters, spell things stupid ways is ridiculous IMO.
