From a design and feature perspective my favorite part of Ali2 is clips. These icons are just gorgeous.

Sue me, I couldn't find a clip with 8! What is your favorite part of Ali2?

With Ali2, I think it's safe to say that someone within the 9r camp has mad Illustrator skillz yo :)

Thanks for recognizing that man, all of those have greyed out equivalents too if you've already clipped it. Those took awhile to do lol.

Mike: I recognize hard/good work when I see it bro. Kudos.

Hmmm, my favourite part?
From an aesthetic viewpoint, the homepage is as sexy as. And I like the Friends page and how each friend can have their vitals highlighted. But I think the part I like the most is the ability to track everything better with the Streams. My Notes, friends Notes, member content, recommended content, Clips, Fresh Clips... It all comes under one roof and that is pretty sweet.

From a Member standpoint, having the top secret world domination discussion integrated with Notes makes planning so much easier.

Ronald (cavemonkey50): And world domination is not such an easy thing to plan either. :)

I liked the Clips design even before I realized there were a total of 9 nodes being filled out, at that point I totally geeked out. Superior aesthetics all around, Mike!
On the question of favorite feature, I'd have to say the Streams — they're really making my life easier, and'll probably get even better once I get more accustomed to using them.

Interestingly enough I was thinking the same. It reminded me immediately of newsvine but I love the clip icons.
I also love how Mike has made the very intricately layered backgrounds (like the my 9rules and the leaf on the left sidebar). Yum.

Well, I love the Friends Profile view that you can load. That's just great.
Also, I like the footer, esp. with the rounded bottom just above it? Oh you know what I mean. It's just simple black and grey with a little curve, but it's perfect.
There's so many details still to discover...
(Like how to unfriend someone? Not that I want to, but I have Gnorb as a friend twice. I don't think I can take that much longer.)

The fact that my stream is now my profile. I love that!

hthth: Here here!
Devin: Yeah, the icons remind me of several similar implementations I've seen around the internet - but they also remind me of my DNA - which is cool.
Nils: Yeah. Feature requests go over ---> there. :) But, since we're on the subject - Unclipping?

The Scrivsmeister mentioned somewhere that it was on the to-do list.

1) The community pages. Seriously, check this out: http://9rules.com/writing/. Beautiful, just beautiful. Clips, notes, and entries all in one area. I love it.
2) The dashboard, especially the Entries page. I'd been begging for a while for an integrated reader, and while this isn't what I had in mind (more on that if you care ask), I love the fact I can with one button add a member's RSS feed to my dashboard.
Wish:
If I could wish for one thing, however, it would be tie ability to find the member pages more easily. (I don't mean someone's profile, I mean the member page where I can add their site as a favorite.) Right now, I can only do this by doing a search for the person, clicking on "Entires" and finding an entry with the "Member Profile" link for the correct person. Maybe I'm missing something blindingly obvious here, though.
Still, I'm getting used to this -- and I still have a LOT of exploring to do -- and I'm finding it awesomer and awesomer.

The fact you can now trick out your profile. It makes your little corner of 9rules so ... you!

shadowsun7: I'm looking forward to the day when I can afford to purchase a new header. Not that that I don't like my old one though!

I have to say, the Dashboard.
When I get my iBook from my Dad it will be THE homepage. I NEVER use homepages but this is awesome.

Streams and community pages, definitely.
The whole clips feature, too.
So much eye candy, I can't take my eyes off!
