Although he is still busting his ass here with me on Chawlk he should be out running the streets of Raleigh naked showcasing his body to the world. I've known this cat for so long it's hard for me to fathom that he is only going to be 25. Still so much to accomplish and yet we have accomplished so much together already.
The party will be happening all throughout the day so get your rest and for everyone else out there wish my boy a happy birthday or all your points belong to me.
Here's to the next 25 years my friend.
I almost scratched everything I just wrote since you just told me the dumbest idea ever to enhance profiles. I'll assume you are drunk of old age.

Thanks man, much appreciated. That profile idea was dope and you know it.... I'm gonna drop it into the site without you even knowing.
A couple years ago I made the goal of being a millionaire by the time I was 30, then I switched it to 25. About 8 months ago I realized that was a stupid goal, and that my only professional goals are to just keep working on cool stuff and things that interest me, and keep the bills paid. In the grand scheme of things I think that's a far better goal, and that's definitely one I'm accomplishing with you and Tyme at my side.
So to everyone that has passed the 25-year hill and is now on the down slope to 30... does 30 come fast or is it a slow and painful decline?

Happy birthday Mike! It comes fast so enjoy your 20s while you still got em. (the painful and decline still apply though) :-)

Happy Birthday Mike!
Whether 30 comes fast or not is entirely relative to whether you're doing what you love and in a good place in your life, so it's different for everybody. I for one am much happier at 40-ish than I was at 25 or 30, but you seem to have a better handle on what you want to do with your life right now (at least for right now) than I did at 25. That part makes all the difference, really.
Enjoy the day, and many more to come!

Happy Birthday Mike! <3
I'm only 23 so can't offer any words of wisdom, apart from my strong disappointment in you not being a millionaire by the time you're 25.

Happy birthday. 30 snuck up on me rather than being a slow decline. Hope you had a good day and this year brings you much hoorahness.

You should approach your years in the same way you approach finances now. Just live your fullest and enjoy today. Then you won't really need to worry about what happens at 30 and beyond, and you won't really notice any difference when you get there.
Happy birthday, dude. You've come a long way.

Happy Birthday Mike. Welcome to 25. Being only a few months deep into 25, I gotta say, it feels a lot like 24. :)

Happy Birthday Mike. With all you've done it's hard to believe you're still so young. 30 is catching up on me pretty quickly, so make sure you stick to you goal of doing what you find interesting and fun. That way, age becomes irrelevant. Have a great day.

Happy Birthday Mike! I'm almost 30 myself and the first of every month my wife reminds me. (She seems to think 30 is old)
Have fun!

Happy happy birthday, Mike! take a break from the code and enjoy!

Thanks everybody!
shadowsun, I wish I could say that taking a break from the code would be a great way to spend my birthday, but unfortunately (or fortunately) I enjoy working on code and design far too much and I'll definitely be spending my day neck deep in stuff :) On late Friday and Saturday nights after I hop in bed, I'll routinely open up my iBook and work on some iPhone app code just because it's like crack to me... can't get enough of it!

Any chance this iPhone code you're "playing with" would link in with Chawlk or 9Rules at all? :)

Happy Happy Birthday, Mike!! :) The ascent (not descent) to 30 only gets better... That's the good news. As for the bad news ... nope. There ain't any. Maybe that I still get carded even though I got less than a year til 30. Not that that's relevant to your birthday, any. Just another opportunity to talk about myself, that's all.
Again, Happy Birthday, Mike!!!! There ain't no thang like a quarter-century crisis!!

I get ID'd all the time, I'm 28, but I look 17. The curse of the baby face.

@isdereks: I still use my iBook! Ol' trusty. Serves its purpose.

isdereks, I still have it and it's my only laptop, but I use a 24" Intel iMac for my main work.

Looking young has its perks, but it's REALLY annoying to be carded for a damned Rated R movie, I mean BEER is one thing, but an R Movie, WTH!?
One thing that ads to it is that I'm incapable of growing facial hair in the quantity that would produce a good beard, or mustache... if a week or so passes without me shaving my "beard" looks like something Yasser Arafat would sport.
