I doubt many did, but the Colorado Rockies here are playing so I definitely tried...
...but the ticket seller sucked. I'm so mad. If you know anything about the internet you could tell they were unprepared for the World Series but lied all about it.
So did anyone else try? Have any luck?

I've never been to Colorado and I can't say I'd exactly travel there for baseball, Devin. :) Snowboarding, yes; baseball, no.
Are they already sold out? Is it too late for you to find some ... even if it means paying top dollar? And if you could, would you?

I've bought World Series tickets before. It was a pain in the ass and I was super lucky I got them. Some of my friends have found tickets on craigslist and other places for a lot of money. I'd say that for the most part it's worth it, if you could find ones that aren't too expensive. Even if you get shitty seats, the atmosphere is worth the price.
I'm not going to buy tickets this year since a) I can't afford it and b) It's the Rockies vs. the Red Sox. However, if my Yankees were in it, or even the Indians, I'd at least try.

Because the Red Sox are going to the World Series, that's all that people are talking about here in the Boston area. It's like, nobody seems to care about the wild fires burning in southern California, but... it's just the talk of the town. And you can sense that people are excited. Wearing their "B" hats and their sports apparel. I, on he other hand... may sport my pink "B" hat if I feel the need to. Also, I have every intention of watching the game from home!

You know...I'm a Yankee fan but I've never had the "hate" thing for the Red Sox. However, I'd like to see the Rockies win just because they've been off the radar and I don't know much about them.

I'm just upset about the process that the team used (only sold online). So anyone out there in the world could buy them and sell the back at top dollar.
So, to answer the question, no, I won't buy tickets.
I would've preferred the Indians... oh well...
