March Madness has seized my office again and this time I'm having some fun with my brackets. Sure, one is serious and involved studying. The other? Well, it consists of a little thing I like to call 'Mascot Wars'.
What upsets do you see in this year's tournament? Play starts at 12pm Eastern on Thursday. How many of you will be working at home for the next couple of days?

I got my brackets filled out. Only upset I am comfortable predicting is Holy Cross over Southern Illinois.

I'm in Maryland for break and I'm hoping they win tomorrow. Not that I care but a lot of my friends do.
This is my logic, and also how not to fill out brackets.
I take
UConn as my brother went there.
George Washington and Georgetown because I hope to go to grad school at one or the other
Villanova - mothers alma mater
Penn - father's alma mater
BC -a good friend goes there
Miami - one of my blogger friends is a information librarian there.
I don't choose Duke - too many frat boys and my cousin went there and he s a real prick.
The rest I go for the one with the lowest ranking/underdog.
I didn't do all that bad last year if I recall.

Scrivs - Does your bracket group award more points for upsets? Mine does.
Cooper - That is one personal bracket.
Justin - There's no way that a duck could take out a gator.
Did anyone see the Colbert Report last night? It is one of the best predicition tools ever:

I predict Manchester United will beat the Bears by 4 goals and a hole in one.

Bracketology is always a crapshoot I lose, so this year I filled it out in about 10 minutes. Seriously, picking by mascot is about as good a methodology as any.
