I talked to Tyme early this afternoon when she was about to go vote in her Ohio primary, and I don't think she's back yet, which would make her wait be 3+ hours so far!
Anyone else voting today experience waits like this?

No but my mother was accosted by Hillary supporters on her way in to vote in Texas today... they stayed outside the designated "no go" zone but she said she had to push one of them out of her way so she could vote.

I hear the weather is horrendous in Ohio today, so that may be a factor. I also heard that the turnout has been pretty robust, so... who knows.
I feel so lucky that voting here takes practically no time at all. I remember going to the polls with my dad in NOLA back in 88 and we had to wait for-ev-ERRRR. Imagine how boring that is when you're five.

Man that's horrible. If it was me in that situation, I'd grab a video camera, put it up on YouTube, and then email a dozen news outlets.

I told her to report it but she's not a confrontational person and she just shrugged it off.
I would have grabbed anyone I could have and called every major news and radio outlet in the nearest 100 miles.

I would have, at least, contacted the election commission. When I went to vote on Super Tuesday there was a guy in the parking lot who handed me a card, and told me his name and to please select him as a delegate for (some Republican candidate). I kind of shrugged him off, but then wondered if what he was doing was kosher.

A good friend of mine early voted in Houston on Saturday, and it took her 3.5 hours.

And then she had to go back to caucus, huh. That is lame.

I voted earlier this evening in Ohio, and I was in and out in 10 minutes or so. I am, however, in a pretty tiny town, so...
And yes, the weather is crappy. I'm actually hoping the high winds don't bust any windows tonight.

She obviously didn't place enough votes.

I vote in a small place. Voters bring pizza and donuts for the long and hard working folks who run it all. People know you and make polite small talk (not about politics). It takes me just a few minutes. If the weather was bad and it took several hours, I would probably still vote but it sure would be a different experience.
