Marilyn Manson at Pinkpop 2007 with 2,505 views:

I'm amazed it turned out so well because five minutes before Marilyn Manson came on stage a severe thunderstorm poured enormous amounts of rain over us so I had to quickly wrap my camera in a plastic bag and pretty much shot photos without looking, trying to catch mister Manson while attempting to keep my camera dry.

I enabled stats but never bothered to look at them. Thanks for the reminder.

We were in Costco one afternoon right after the end of the 06-07 football season, and this football caught my eye. At first I was like, "Whoa, they sell everything here!" but then looked closer and realized it was a prank. Had to get a shot.

Wow! That's an awesome live shot! I saw him back during the Mechanical Animals Tour and that was well worth the admission for the people watching alone. :)

18,844 views. Definitely only because the guy in the photo has the same name as a famous porn star (next one down has 3919 which goes to show the power of filth!).

375 views of the giant squid mural at the Newport Aquarium. Way less than anyone else's I'm guessing. Haven't taken many pictures lately.

I've always wished there was a way to compile something like a "most popular photos from X group" or a "show me all photos with over X views or a top ten per user.

I think it's totally intriguing what people latch on to and what photo gets the most views, out of what I would suspect is probably a pretty diverse batch of photos in anyone's account.

Are the counts in Stats any different from the view count I've always gotten? I just activated the stats thing now and it says it will take a day, so I don't know if there is a difference.

Anyway, according to the old fashioned way, the popular section under Your Photos, the one with the most views is Kasumi Wonders with 4,088 views:

I'm sure it's because of the 1:6 scale Vespa, plus Kasumi is from the DOA video games.

My Flickr account is not diverse. I limit that one to anime related things, mostly of figures/statues.

I was equally perplexed peroty... I LOVE the Black and White I have posted in my photos but of all of them it comes in like 10th place.

To be fair, being in Explore probably helped this one along some! But then my next top one also has near 900 views without that. Who can understand the arcane Flickr magic?

Yeah, after my 800-views Chocolate phone photo, my number two has about 120. LOL

1,126 views. I'm not really sure why this particular photo is so popular. It was taken with a bunch of other pictures from the Lehigh Valley Apple Store Grand Opening, but I think my other shots show the store better. The photoset did make TUAW, but this picture has like 1,000 more views than the others.

My top photo has a shamefully low amount of views.

Thank you! I took the picture at an abandoned inn. The pool was not nearly as gross as the baby pool. It looked like mushy death. I should have used a stick and tried to find out what was in there.

While I check the stats every now and then, I never really looked at the all time column. I'm a little surprised that this one has the most views at 447.

Frost Bank in Austin during SXSW week last year.

Mine is this photo I took of wrestler Eddie Guerrero when I ran into him in an airport only a few months before he passed. One of the few candid shots of Eddie on Flickr so it was pretty popular after he died. 14,842 views.

My most popular picture is probably also one of the most boring looking ones.

Nevertheless it was an exclusive screen shot of Football Manager 2008 several months before the demo was released.

Considering all the vacation pictures and pictures of our son it's a surprise.

On the other hand. I use flickr as an image host for a couple of my blogs, so I guess that explains it.

my top pic has almost 9k views but i'd rather not put it here, its kinda nsfw (but not really). my second one is a really bad picture of some of my friends at the beach, almost 7k views. however, the titles and tags on these two were a test to see if it would get them lots of views. it did. also, my top pic has been marked as favorite 51 times. crazy.
