mine is...
Invest and save $$$ - I need to have an emergency funds savings account for 3-6 months. Pay off my credit card bills, I’m not in debt but I want to have a ZERO balance. Buy more Apple (AAPL) stocks because theyre gonna come out with more “I” products. I’m serious about stocks, I just opened my portfolio and mutual funds accound via my bank and Invest 10% of my income every month. I just want to have a financial stability just in case I get a girl pregnant, not really the primary reason but I want to feel confident later on because the term “Starving Artist” is sooooo 1998.

The latest plan, I wanna get a haircut or change a hairstyle!
Then learn how to drive a car, get brand new glasses, buy a new Macbook pro and a new Canon camera, have a travel in Europa with my girlfriend (if she wants too :P), have a practice in Siemens or Bosch for 6 moths, then start to write my master's thesis, then...
maybe it's time to say "Happy new year" again...
How time flies... :o

My plans for 2008 are the same I've had for many years. I want to take life easier, smile more and not be as intense as I quickly can be. I'm still trying to find the invisible line in the sand that will save my intense passion for the Big Things.

In 2008 I want to make myself marketable so that I can get a job when I leave college. I'd also like to increase my knowledge of PHP and possibly attempt to learn C# (debatable).
On another note I would love to get into a great relationship as I am not really looking for a fling. But really most of my goals are educational and boring :)

Be more financially secure, pay off debts, get my sleeping schedule a little more normal, go to the gym more, work harder, produce better work than the year before (I have this goal every year), pay more attention to my personal brand on the web, start new websites and work hard on them.

In a nutshell.
Graduate. Finish my honours thesis. Lose a little bit more fat. Apply for Australian permanent residency.
Aside from that, I can't be expecting much more.

1. Continue to run my online video blog (profile to see...)
2. Set goals for 2009
3. Leave high school freshman year with a good thought (4.0 GPA duh)
4. Become less uptight in social situations
5. Get fatter so I can swim with more endurance. Yes, there's such thing as too skinny in swimming.
Besides that, nothing else really.

2007 has been a huge year for me (graduating from uni, having an awesome first job just land in my lap straight afterwards) so I think 2008 is going to be me finding some routine in this new life of mine. Since I started working, I've been forced to neglect pretty much all the side projects I've started or wanted to start over the years. I was planning on taking 6 months off after uni finished, but when the job offer popped up it was just too good to say no.
So, my goals are:
- Finish my evaluation contract at work, and get the full time position with a company car as part of the deal (all pretty much guaranteed at this point)
- Get into a better daily and weekly routine to better manage the small time I have outside of work
- Get back in to working out every now and then. Even if it's just a few pushups
- Find something productive to do with all my money. If I have a compnay car, I have no other real expenses (I still live at home)
- Better work out what to do with all my online plans which got shot down this year because of work
- Play StarCraft 2. If it gets delayed beyond 2008 I will cry.
Knowing me though, it'll only end up being the first and last of those points which come to fruition.

I'm so looking forward to the coming year. I've gotten so much accomplished in the last decade -- I love my job, I know how to do it well, my children are a source of great happiness, my husband is a good guy, I have wonderful friends and decent relationships with my family. It surprises me sometimes to discover that all this took me so long -- I'm 47 after all, and you'd think it would have come together sooner. But some of us are slow learners, or change just comes slowly. It still comes, though!
My goals now are all about the fiction writing I've been slowly gathering steam with -- I've begun to send out stories consistently and I want to continue to do that; I'd like to finish my second novel by the end of the year, and I plan to find an agent for my first novel, someone I like who can place my book with the right publisher.
Everything else, good health, good financial habits, good relationships with my community and loved ones, those are the things I continue to try to keep on the straight and narrow -- the things that you never really finish doing.
