Pop. I'm Welsh.
Though, to be fair, I don't drink the stuff and very rarely have the need to ever refer to it! Bottled water for the win.

I'm replying to this on my iPod touch. I wasn't sure whether I would like this thing or not but having used it all day I can honestly say I think I'm in love with it.
I'm not a fan of the new nano, so I'm happy I have the previous generation. Fat thing is not for me.
The widescreen video playback is awesome on the touch. There's just a lot of fun to be had with the touch!
Anyway, my vote is for the touch... I love it so much!
I've been in a similar position. When I was upgrading from my PowerBook I couldn't decide whether to get an iMac or MacBook Pro.
I decided on the 24" iMac and, unfortunately, kinda regret my decision. The thing is, I feel like I work better when my work can move when I need to move. I also find it easier to get into a zone when I feel physically closer to the screen and everything on there..
Now, don't get me wrong.. the iMac makes a superb machine for watching movies and playing games - I'd never want to do that on a laptop when I have this screen. It's just, I can't code on it as good as I can on a laptop.
So, my solution was to buy a MacBook as well. Just a normal low-end one.
My advice: opt for the MacBook Pro. If you're that bothered by the screen size just grab an external monitor at a later date.
Just my two pence (I'm British).
You can drink in the UK, too!
Happy Birthday!!
I can't wait until I hit 21 myself, so I can come out to the US and drink it up too. ;)
I've just started a new Warlock and I'll be levelling that thing to get out and see TBC. I got bored and deleted all my other characters and cancelled my account just before January, so it's odd going back.
Okay, so I can't turn it on it's side and flick through my album art... and I can't make calls on it, but hey! This thing is pretty cool. I'd buy one, if I could. I don't like PCs but I'd use this thing in my lounge as a funky coffee table.
That's definitely more badass than this photoshop one.
I've never seen any of the Batman films. I've seen trailers but I was never interested in the films themselves. Dunno really, guess I thought it would ruin the cartoon/comicbook thing I had going for me when I was little.
I don't really pay much (read: any) attention to politics. When told I can go vote, though, I'll go do it. Generally I'll wander down and stick a vote in for Plaid Cymru just because I can.
Are they ever going to get into power? No. I guess that's why I vote for them. My vote doesn't really *count* for anything then but it goes towards someone with a few interesting views.
If it weren't for that and I wanted my vote to mean something, I'd probably opt for conservative. Apparently I am and many of my views are that way inclined (to an extreme right wing according to my girlfriend).
F00 ftw.
And if someone wants to give me 11 points so I can get me a pin, please feel free. ;)
Rich: I didn't notice that! Now it's starting to bug me.
It does just look like CSSEdit, TextMate and Transmit bundled into one - for $13 less ($33 at introductory price).
The CSS section looks so much like CSSEdit but it's just not as good in my opinion. It has a mirrored-like effect on the background colours and so you're not exactly sure which colour it actually is. Other than that it has the same style and layout as CSSEdit (though with CSSEdit 2.5 out today, it's still out in front with things like X-ray Inspector).
I have Transmit, TextMate and CSSEdit - is there really any point to switch to an all-in-one "one-window web development" app?
Sorry, slightly drunken rambling. Don't get me wrong, Coda looks great and I think it would be awesome if I didn't have the other apps... but I don't have much use for it myself.
Yet, I'm still tempted to buy it and I don't know why!
You're watching on Sky One, right? We're on the same episode they are right now. Except it's aired on Sunday. We caught up over Christmas.
Still, I download them every Thursday morning. Hehe.
They were told by their school not to say the word - purely because there were a lot of younger people in the audience. They were asked and agreed not to say it.
As far as I see it, they were suspended for disobeying, not because they said a crude word.
I don't find it offensive, personally but you will have some people who may if their five / six year old child hear it. You never know. Clearly the school board just wanted to be on the safe side of things...
My website being http://www.steffanwilliams.co.uk - I'm going to say I'm all for FirstnameSurname.tld.
In all honesty, I think I went for it due to a lack of imagination more than anything. I couldn't think of what else to name my website--my blog--that's about me and my thoughts on stuff... hmm.. what could I possibly call it...?
Anyway, I'm for it.
Having said that, I didn't see Shakespeare using them ;)
Oh really? I found these flicking through some of my books last night!
Merchant of Venice
Antonio:
In sooth I know not why I am so sad... :'(
It wearies me; you say it wearies you; :s
Hamlet
Polonius: What do you read, my lord?
Hamlet: Words, words, words. :P
Twelfth Night
The Clown: Many a good hanging prevents a bad marriage... ;)
Okay, maybe not. Although I do think it'd be much easier to understand and pick up on some of the jokes in Shakespeare if there was a little emoticon at the end of a line. I wouldn't appreciate it now but back when I was in school and had to analyze Shakespeare it would have been great.
Odd! I was asked this question by an old girlfriend of mine. She didn't want her new boyfriend to find any of her porn collection (she has a vast collection of a rather.. interesting.. taste).
Anyway, I just told her to do what I used to do when I was younger - folder in a folder in a folder in a folder in a folder.
It just makes it that bit less easy to access to put people off methinks.
My home is in South Wales, UK. However, I currently live in England for Uni. Being Welsh, I've never been a fan of the English and so I can't exactly say I love where I'm living. The UK is decent enough though.. Everything I buy from America (internet shopping ftw) seems so cheap because my money feels like it's worth double.
I'd like to think that when I graduate I'll head out to America (where, though, I have no idea!) for a bit. I'd love to get a place out there.
One can dream, eh?
XBOX/360 - wouldn't touch with a barge pole.
PS2 - FFX.
Wii - Twilight Princess
GameCube - SSX3 (it's the one I kept going back to, anyway)
Nintendo DS - Brain Training
Game Boy - Pokemon Red and Wario World.. I can't decide.
PC/Mac - World of Warcraft
Dreamcast - Shenmue
Mega Drive - Mortal Kombat and *any* Sonic game.
32X - Knuckles Chaotix (how I miss the 32X..)
Master System - Alex Kidd
Aww.. I miss my Master System. It's in my bedroom at home. I think I may have to go back to my Uni room and buy a Master System virtual game on the Wii.
Safari. When I switched to a Mac, I switched all the way.
When I'm using Linux or Windows, it has to be Firefox though.
I told a girl I love her after two weeks of dating.
How did I know or think I was in love? No idea.. I just felt something incredibly strong for this girl. Granted, I was 16 at the time and strong feelings can be.. well.. wrong. However, I'm still with the girl today - three and a half year later.
I love my girlfriend.
$425.60
At least I'm not *overly* bad.
First time I've seen that video, Rick; damn well made me laugh. =P
I have Ultimate edition sitting on a shelf behind me. I installed it once but I had to remove it in under 2 hours, as the driver issues were really bugging me.
My suggestion, keep it somewhere. You never know - you may need a coaster one day or a spare frisbee or something.
What would I hate to miss?
...Life.
I'd hate to die.. ever.. full stop. In fact, that's my top fear; even more so than spiders.
24" iMac (2.33Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2GB Ram) and 15" PowerBook G4.
I prefer brunettes - though my current girlfriend of three and a half years in blonde.
She knows I prefer brunettes though.. and makes snide remarks about it now and again if there's a brunette around that she thinks is very attractive.
Why do I prefer brunettes? I have no idea! I just prefer it. I'm gunna side with cooper and say chemical because I can't think of any reason why I do find it more attractive.
I honestly don't think it'd make much of a difference (single or not) to the amount of times I need it. ;)
It might, however, affect the amount of times I get it. Although, I'm sure either which way, it would be compensated for. One on one isn't all that bad, now, is it?
I'm a guy, so I'm going to say: as much as I can get.
The only apps I keep in my Dock are the first three you mentioned, Glenn! So my most used would be: Mail, Safari and NewsFire.
Other than that, I guess it's Quicksilver and Adium.
To update my answer - yes I would pay for Vista, as I already have. I bought the OEM version of Ultimate. £120 wasn't too bad for Ultimate, especially seeing how much the retail version actually costs; which is something I would never pay for.
I've installed it via Boot Camp on my new iMac. Finally I can do all my website testing without having to have a separate PC around.
This is really cool!
Very impressive work.
Just purely out of interest, I found this website selling the various Vista packages:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=33&catid=20
I'm in the UK so all the prices are in pound sterling. Has anyone found a cheaper OEM version, as I'd quite like to pick up a copy..?
By the way, to clarify an earlier point.. I do love my Mac, I just use XP for testing of websites in IE6/7 and to play some games with friends. I'm a Mac user really... honest! Heh.
I've just installed XP on my new iMac (which I bought a couple of weeks back).
I'll be upgrading to Vista Ultimate when I pick up an OEM version. I'm definitely not paying full retail price. I figure I may as well buy it - the operating system is pretty much the only software I want completely legitimate and fully functioning even if I do "pirate" other pieces of software.
Just my logic though... Hehe.

I really do. My work, especially, seems to suffer.
Not so good for me, this year, as I have my dissertation to hand in next week and I haven't even begun to look at it.
Just counting down the days until the 8th of December and I get to go home for a month.
