Same here, a lot of shit has happened this year, and I really can't wait for 2008, because I have so much going on in 2008, including my bottom surgery - as well as being in the mile-high city, many miles away from family. ^_^

Well, considering that the most violent religions - Islam and Christianity - focus on the Judeo-Christian idea of 'god'. You don't see Buddhists go on Jihads, Hinduists go on wars like 'the Crusades' or Shintoists talk of 'the Apocolypse'. Taoists don't believe that they will spend eternity with Lao Tzu.
Not all Christians are fundamentalists. There are a couple of liberal christians that I know, and I even know a couple of Christians in the LGBT community, far from fundamentalist Christianity, I can assure you. There are also Unitarian Universalists that have Christian beliefs.

Hitchhiking from Calgary, Alberta to the US border.
Yep, 2008 is going to be a great year!
That's good to hear, I am writing a book of my current experiences.
Try to enroll in a community college course and purchase them via student discount. You can't purchase them without having student ID because ADOBE WILL VERIFY.
I am thinking about making a new CSS-based e-mail signature.
I know, oli. BSD is important to Mac OS X but keep in mind that I prefer Mac OS X because I need to use a laptop and Linux support for laptops is flaky.
TextMate for Mac, hands down. However, I have wondered if bbEdit would better serve my purposes.
I use the following as my e-mail signature:

You want "One nation under god"? Move your insane, delusional ass to Iran.
Since I just started my blog (Buddhasm), I am hoping to improve my writing skills and document my transition throughout the timespan of my blog.
WordPress and Adium. I dunno why I chose Adium, but it is one of the very few free Mac programmes that I use all the time.
Well, the only thing (mt) MediaTemple has going for it is the fact that it doesn't ruin your credit rating like 1&1 Internet.
Scrivs, if it's a dating manual, write it like a manual. Put all the obvious things that people are too dumb or preoccupied to know about in there. And then sell it labelling it something like "The System by Dr. Love".
... or something like that.
Yeah, I am on the grid as well. And while their grid is as buggy as hell, they sell hosting gift cards instead of fixing their issues... wtf?
(Yeah, I remember when MediaTemple's servers were set to some date in 2000 a few months back. Even if it was only for a few hours, I noticed.)
I'd probably scream, run around in a circle and then eventually buy a humane trap and then release the mouse outside.
Oh, I am with MediaTemple right now, but once my services expire, I am planning to move to a new webhost. Preferably something like NearlyFreeSpeech.net.
I would kiss on the first date. Why not?
Well, men are obsessed with virgins with some reason or another. Why do you think that the Judeo-Christian religions are so obsessed with them?
"Party Train" by RuPaul. ^_^
Oh and probably "Karen by Night" by Jill Sobule.
... and THIS is one of the many reasons I am glad I am a lesbian.
Maybe Portland, Oregon, Manchester, or Vancouver, BC.
At least you should be thankful you aren't LGBTQ.
I work at the pink pages, so I don't think it would even be appealing for my boss.
Hehehe, I've got it. "No soliciting. Religious harassing counts as soliciting as well."
I would believe that MySpace would be coked-out.
Rich, that sounds too much like the story about Uncle Ry.
I am an Atheistic Buddhist with no desire to come back to Christianity. And yet, I get Mormon-bombed because some Jehovah's Witness comes rapping on my door every week. And is it wrong to place a plaque on my door saying something to the effect of "Anyone found proselytizing on the property will be considered trespassing. Anyone who is trespassing will be shot. Survivors will be prosecuted".
Yeah. My house generally has about 26 guns, just for protection against Robbers and Jehovah's Witnesses.
That one is... interesting.
Yeah, I have my own tools that I prefer to use whenever I am at my own computer, with my own applications.
All the other posts would be back up within 24 hours because I store off-site backups.
I think the best archives page I have ever seen had to have been in Bryan Veloso's Aries Project. It's so sad that that site has died off. But it was easy to browse and very thorough. I am going to set up my own blog soon and I am planning to design it from cover to cover and yes, archives too.
That is SO funny.
And yet, this is why I am losing job satisfaction as a web designer.

I'd have to say Bryan Veloso, Veerle Pieters and Dave Shea.
