I don't like the phrase geek when someone actually means it, if you get me. If someone says to me "What do you do?" I'll say, "Oh, I'm a web developer - a bit of a geek really."
It seems to kind of break the ice around "WTF is a web developer?!"

Does that mean that for 364 days you can take parents for granted so long as you make them breakfast in bed on Mother's/Father's Day?

@kris860911: That really is coincidence lol. Never seen that logo before - and I don't really even like that style. It was an experiment of sorts. I'm not going to use it much longer, need to re design a nice one :)
Standards are important, hence their existence. You can create great effects with standards so why not combine the two a little more often.

You can gear yourself to provide both. I live in a very small town (UK), and do design for the local businesses, but I have done projects for people in the US. I think you're probably best SEO wise to target yourself more locally though.

Well someone's given me a great idea. As he's hotlinking my files, I ought to change one image to a pic reading "I stole this site from web.prdesign-studio.co.uk, go and take a look if you don't believe me."

This is not a new trend, but it shocked me all the same. I recently developed this site for the web department of PR Design and, not to blown my own trumpet, it got some pretty good recognition with CSS galleries. It seems someone else quite likes it too. I was checking my Google Analytics and this link came up. Can you see a slight resemblance? Or is it me? Please gimme some advice! I've contacted Freewebs, asking them to pull the plug on his account but is there anything else I can do?
