Soccer Hooligans are ready to run wild on you!
I am getting myself to the gym 2/3 times a week regularly for the first time in my life with the newfound motivation.
I am doing weights and cardio in the gym, about 30 mins of cardio and 30 mins broken into arms/legs.
I am looking for some sort of plan or training schedule I can follow for days I am not in the gym to get into better shape. It's partially about losing weight and partially about just being healthier.
What do you all do? Can you point me in the direction of any plans or schedules. I will do better if I have a plan I can write down / login to and follow. It will keep me accountable to myself and my girlfriend who is I am doing the same thing for.
Can be online or offline.
Unrelatedly, I love my iPod Touch for keeping notes on workouts. :)
Women's Gymnastics, Soccer highlights, whatever catches my eye online. Yes, I installed Silverlight on my Mac because I want pretty video when I want it.
You know, we don't all have to wait for the official 9r league, we could start one, or a couple of our own too. ;-)
Yeah, you can use that great live drafting system that worked so flawlessly last time around! :)
I'm ready for some FF as well. I am playing in one league with some friends (half of them don't know that much about football) so it will be hysterical and possibly a disaster. Either way, it'll be fun. But I'm looking to thrown down with some others as well. I'll keep an eye out for the 9r league. However, since I was in last year I'd happily give up my spot to some fresh blood.
I wish I had vacation days TO take. Or sick days. Being a contractor sucks like that.
Skynet.
As predictable as meterologists.
Down 4 times a day.
And when it gets busy.
And when Apple releases a phone.
And...
I don't think Fake John Connor would be very happy about that though. He must be working to bring Twitter down as we speak.
Thanks for the host of great suggestions! I had not really paid much attention to the Wii because I had a 360 already and there wasn't anything I was drooling over (save the various Mario titles).
Now I have a good starting point.
Thank again!!
Now... to find a copy of Mario Kart...
I've loved Mario Kart in all its incarnations and played the Wii version last weekend with a friend and had an absolute blast! :D
As of last night, I own a Wii.
Tell me, what games do I need to run out and buy immediately?
On the list already:
Mario Kart.
Smash Bros.
Mario Strikers.
What other gems are there?
Brilliantly silly collection of water color paintings. Logs would enjoy skateboarding, a ghost's schedule, many floating heads.
Annie - she has given my life meaning I never knew it could have and the support and love I never knew I could find in a relationship.
Megan - the best friend and roommate I could have ever asked for. She's been a constant source of humor, hugs, baked goods, ears for listening.
ipod - I listen to music constantly.
macbook - uptime of 26 days and I continue to pound away on it and it's still rock solid.
I am totally oblivious.
Did this remind anyone else of the Harlem Globetrotters though?
Thanks Dreamweaver!
@mkowalski Because it's freaking gorgeous!! :D
Points for you!
Ack! I messed my note all up! And the edit page is broken. :(
It's true! Katamari takes over your life! And makes a damned good cake too!
Also, if you've not seen them, there are a fine selection of Katamari shirts over at the Panic store!
I'm late to the party but it's because I've been working.
I have racked up 17 hours of overtime in the past 3 days and I should have 20 by the end of today.
Good thing tomorrow is a holiday!
Orange Juice.
Chocolate Milk.
Bottle of Water.
None now.
All consumed.
In that order.
ooooo time to make some headers! I am excited!
Exercise. My roommate and I have both made the decision to exercise more. We're both really busy and have weird schedules so we've been taking walks through our neighborhood.
We don't run or jog yet, just walk. It feels good and it gives us a chance to catch up with each other. Our neighborhood is nicely sliced up into blocks so we have a 1 mile, 1.5 mile and a 2 mile route to walk depending on how much time and energy we have.
This is the first time I've EVER stuck with any sort of exercise plan. Make it fun. Make it simple and make it something enjoyable. Long walks in a park or around where you live are perfect and it'll give you time to talk and be together as well.
Never a bad thing. :)
Google wins for search engines.
Blingo.com wins for stacking prizes on top of Google search results.
Yes, Blingo is a referral link. It just means I win if you win. If you don't want to use it, don't. Blingo.com (no referral) will get you there as well.
I watched Heima on my projector with the surround sound in full effect and it's absolutely breath-takingly beautiful. I loved every second of it. :)
I love Sigur Ros and hearing them in rich surround sound on 100" was marvelous. :)
Yes, I wrote about this quite some time ago.
I love models like NIN's Ghosts I-IV release where I can pay the artist directly instead of giving money to a retailer and knowing the artist sees so little.
My easygoing nature. Like water off a duck's back, drama rolls into the river and downstream in my life.
I've always wanted a networkable microwave! I fooled people in college by running from IDE cables through the vents and into a hole in our wall into thinking I had.
My morning routine could be greatly streamlined if the fridge would pour me orange juice and the toaster oven could prepare a bagel.
I'm not sure about the cream cheese. I don't think I want to give SkyNet Jr. a knife.
Exactly like it does now.
I was the tallest person in my school from 1st grade until 9th. And even then, it took my 6'8" math teacher to beat me out for tallest person.
I remained the tallest student. I was literally a head and shoulder above every kid in my school all through elementary school.
Don't worry though, I topped out at 6'5" and am the BFG. (And no, that has nothing to do with a gun, go read Roald Dahl!)
I think it makes a lot of sense. :)
I think by splitting 9r up into 9r and Chawlk it will keep the quality content of 9r like tasty roast chicken for the eyes.
And Chawlk can be where us heathens can go to play. ;-)
There's only three of you. I've been up and at work since 5am so I'm not all with it either. But I think it only means good things for both sites. :)
*waits anxiously*
I think Shadowsun7 should get 1000 points for finding it. :)
@Vidar
You're so right! It continues to amaze me how companies treat their customers. They'll woo you with happy shiny pictures of cute blondes in headsets waiting to take your call. Then when you really need to call someone, it'll be Indian man reading from a script and will most likely disconnect you.
It's so infuriating!!!
@Subimage
I hadn't even thought of that, but I think you're right. ;)
You should be able to get to any share on the laptop as long as they're on the same lan by typing \\computername into the address bar. It should then prompt you to login. Login as you and it should show you all the shares.
The laptop can be on a domain OR a workgroup, but not both. You'll have to set both machines to Workgroups if they want to share like that.
Or you can just use the //LAPTOPNAME and get into the shares that way. And if you really need to get into the full machine, just slap a /C$ or DriveLetterDollarSign on the end as XP shares every drive unless you disable it. They're just hidden.
Example:
\\bryan\C$ <- your C drive shared
Good luck!
