Ozone42: It sounds like a nightmare, and I would definitely feel the same way, if it had happened to me.

ErinR's sugestions would be mine, also. I would also suggest locating a homeless shelter or a woman's shelter...they are usually looking for good furniture.
I use my own photos in my blog.
As far as other resources...I suggest Wikipedia, Creatuve Commons, and the stock sites, also.
I've had BofA for years, and have not had one single problem with them, including customer service. I have always been able to get through to customer service and speak with a representative.
I liked the introduction of Norse mythological characters in the book, which actually gave the story line away to me. The end was predictable.
Immigration, quest, assimilation, transformation, he wrote it all in there, but my interest wasn't held, in the end.
So far, the book has been predictable for me.
I wouldn't have walked on by, and would have given them some money, regardless of what they might do with it afterwards. Once it is in their hands, it is theirs to do with as they choose.
I always help the needy through charitable organizations...and giving money to those on the street. I put my money where my mouth is.
Did you give the person any money? Just curious.
Dinner.
This is standard fare for me.

I like Borders best, and then B&N. I like to spend time in both, browsing, and sipping a vanilla latte.
There is a book store called Davis Kidd that I like, and frequent it often. I buy a lot of my history and Judaism books there.
I buy someof my books on amazon, but mainly at the bookstores. I prefer looking at book jackets and looking through the books, and am a hands on person. I buy them normally for at least 30% off, and have instant gratification.
You deserve more, and so does your child. You need to think of yourself and your child. By staying you are not only setting yourself up for more heartache through the lying, but also setting your child up for the same. Your child will learn that it is either:
1. Okay to lie.
2. Okay to be in a relationship with a person who lies all of the time.
3. Okay to be in a relationship that lacks truth and trust.
4. Okay for the child to think less of themselves.
5. Okay to continue the cycle of being in an abusive relationship.
Continual lying, no matter what you say in the end, is verbal abuse and emotional abuse.
You need to think of yourself and your child first and foremost.
I paid $2.69 two days ago.
England, any time of year, and when traveling to Europe, I will always stop there for a few days. England is pure joy for me.
New York...I was born and raised in the suburbs of NYC...I love both NYC and Long Island, and can go there any time of year...it's always a pleasurable trip.
Scotland...Edinborough and also the Scottish Highlands.
Italy
Eastern Europe...Poland, Austria, Budapest, Switzerland, Lithuania/Vilnius, etc.
England, any time of year, oh, did I already say that!?
Chapter 11 is the last chapter. The entire book can be discussed here without the fear of giving away spoilers.
The Measure of a Man, by Sydney Poitier
Discuss everything up to chapter 6 here. Nothing past this chapter.
Gnorb: ROFL!
estarla: I know of one person who used the first one (and the one Gnorb shows first). They found it effective.
Like I said, I used a white cotton surgical mask a few times. It kept the odor of the fumes out, which helped me not to gag. I see a lot of people jogging with them on, probably for the same reason or for allergy purposes.
Here is one style.
And, this one, that looks like a gas mask...but is supposed to be great for eliminating fume smells. It is more along the line of what I was talking about.

There are others, but this is start.
Gnorb: I empathize with you, as I had the same problem, a few years back when training for a marathon. I couldn't get up any earlier, as I was getting up at 4:30 a.m., as it was.
The car fumes were bad, and I found myself gagging a few times, from them. I tried changing my route, it helped a bit, but not much. I ended up buying a cloth surgical mask, and it helped.
They also have a carbon mask you can buy, but it is cumbersome looking.
Oh, jark, get over it! :))
As Darice stated, The Historial does contain some historical fact. It's a good read.
I am thankful for life and for the health of my family members.
I would suggest you go visit dpreview. Compare the cameras according to your needs.
Then as publicenergy said, try them out in a camera shop.
I recommend the Nikon 40, but that is me, I am a Nikon fiend.
Dave: Yes, you have to love those shutter noises. LOL. :)
ErinR, when you do leave a book behind, if you need to talk, I'm here.
I now look at it as an act of giving a little piece of myself to someone else.
I don't judge others as to whether they are sinners or not. In fact the word "sinner" is not part of my vocabulary (other than this post), and never has been. I never used it in conversation with my children, parents, other family members or with friends, etc.
I was once told I was a sinner by the fact of my birth. That was decades ago. Did I believe it? Definitely not, not then or now.
Ozone42: At 64-years old, I am my own person, decide how to answer questions from others on my own, have my own mindset, and state my own opinions, feelings and thoughts, not based on OP answers. I didn't want to respond to the question until I knew brandonrichards' answer...plain and simple. I wanted to hear his opinion, thoughts, feelings on the question he asked.
There you go.
It might be hard, ErinR, but leave a book that is extremely weathered, and one that won't tend to break your heart as easily (although even that could be hard...it was for me the first time).
It was difficult for me to just leave a book, because books are precious to me. I collect first editions, some going back to the 1700s.
What I leave are extremely worn and used paperbacks, that I already have the hard copy edition of, and paperbacks I have bought at library sales, used book sales, etc. (for 10 cents ir 25 cents) I specifically buy the used books to pass along.
Yes, I have had people journal some of my books.
I think before I answer this question...you should answer it first...so we know where you stand.
I'm not trying to sound rude, but I don't see what the big deal is.
She created her characters, they are hers in every aspect, and she can talk about them in any context she chooses to, whenever and wherever she wants.
Yes, I am a member, although not a heavily involved one. I have left books for others on park benches, in restaurants, places I travel out of state, etc. I don't participate in the raffles, games, etc., but prefer to just leave a book for someone to pick up, read, and pass along.
My name is Lorri and I am in a constant state of writing (I am currently in the process of writing two books), taking photographs, traveling and listening to music. I like arthouse films, and am an advocate of charitable work. I love to work in my garden. I am a mother of three adult children, have four grandchildren, and am probably the oldest 9rules member.
No, I never get a flu shot. I am highly allergic to egg white and will go into anaphylactic shock, with my air passages closing over, and the flu shots are made with egg white.
My heart goes out to all affected, also, estarla.
The evening news report stated that over 540,000 have been evacuated, and more will continue. The said it is the largest "movement of people in the U.S. since the Civil War". That is incredible, an unbelievable and amazing statistic.
estarla: Yes, I heard the time frame for the containment on the news. This is by far the worst situation in CA, ever, as far as fires, the seven counties involved, the acreage, and the amount of people being evacuated. As of the news a few minutes ago, over 540 thousand people have been evacuated...that is an ubelievable amount of people for CA fires.
The Santa Ana winds are predictable, fires in CA are predictable, yet, it is still shocking and surprising when one sees the statistics.
Katrina, earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, all of it, is a constant source of surprise, when you see the statistics, the losses, the amount of physical destruction, your city looking like a war zone, loss of life and housing. When you see the continuing results on the TV, it is a great surprise. Each part of the U.S. has its own environmental elements to deal with.
I had my home almost destroyed in the 1969 CA earthquake. Was I surprised...you bet I was, when it happened.
Until it happens to you, you can't really say...but it has happened to me, and I can say...I was surprised...I was in shock, along with my family.
The word surprise takes on several contexts. Shock, astonishment, wonder, amazement, unexpected events or occurrences, and shock over unexpected events or behavior, etc. The word surprise isn't restricted to one definition.

I'm in here, and agree with ErinR. I really thought Mel B. was great on DWtS. She had a great personality and her dancing was fantastic!
