Sometimes we yield to siren songs but find ourselves stranded in the mud and describe life as a farce in the end!

Cooper,
or you may steam it on its own and eat it with a dipping sauce, preferably soy sauce.
Another suggestion, steam with miso paste.Sprinkle dried fish flakes and seaweed stripes and chopped spring onion on it when done.
Cooper,
Without the chicken, do not cut the bean curd. Put some oyster sauce fried shallots on it.
I ate this for dinner yesterday, an easy-to-prepare recipe(no pan-frying or deep frying):
Ingredients:
a.
1 silken bean curd, cubed.
1 sprig spring onion, chopped
b.
1 piece Chicken breast fillet, sliced thinly
3 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp sesame seed oil
2 tsp rice wine
2 pips garlic, pounded
1 inch ginger, pounded
(marinated)
c.
30ml water(more juice will come out of the chicken and the bean curd during cooking)
Serving suggestion: 1-2 persons
Method:
1. Grease a ceramic or standard-steel pot with a little corn oil.
2. arrange the marinated chicken in it.
3. Put the silken bean curd cubes on it.
5. Sprinkle 50% of the chopped onion on top.
6. Steam for 10 to 20 minutes or till cooked.
7. Turn off heat and sprinkle the remaining chopped spring onion on the cooked bean curd.
Served with hot white rice, preferably steamed rice which has more moisture.
I finally hit 60 just now but realized that the time taken was 01:08. Have to work harder again. At least I can do a 50 many times a week, compared to only 20 before.

I had a different way of holding a pencil--I grasped it. My handwriting and drawing were better than most of my classmates though.
I like Simon Cowell. He seems to be the only playing an all-seeing role.
If you are a typical Chinese or Korean, have you ever been frustrated to find westernized Chinese or Korean names on Television and on any printed media?
Let me be clear to you all about the formation of our names. Our family names normally precede the second ones, like Lo Sin Yee(My Chinese Name-Lo is a surname while Sin Yee being my second name) and Kim Bui(Korean Name-Kim is a surname). However, our second names will usually come before the surnames once they have been westernized. Mine will become Sin Yee Lo while the Korean name will be read as Bui Kim. I think they sound awkward enough. The alteration seems to downplay the significance of our ancestral names.
What if we change the formation of western names the Chinese way? Maybe it should be done in the coming Beijing Olympic. The following are the altered names:
Original Altered name
George Bush --- Bush George
Britney Spears --- Spears Britney
Brad Pitt ---- Pitt Brad
Tiger Woods ----- Woods Tiger
If I find all westernized Chinese names odd, what do you think of 'Chinesized' Western names like the ones above?
Yoohoo. I could manage 50 rep just now. Hope to hit 60 in a week. This topic has really made me more hardworking to exercise.
Sometimes people keep thinking of pies to make themselves feel better-they make themselves "pie"-ous and occu-"pied".
I managed to improve a little, from 39 to 42. Have to apply heat lotion now.
I really envy those who can push up more than 60.
I enjoy the hair on my legs. Those having their legs shaved have their own reasons and they have the freedom to do so. If you have already shaved your legs, remember to apply some cooling cream on them to reduce the annoying, prickly itch caused by inflammation.
I also shave but it is only done on my face.
Mmm, all of a sudden I get something from the clips, why should people keep talking about Britney's behavior while we ourselves have so many unresolved personal problems?
My friend posted the above clips to me several weeks ago.I have not finished viewing them and never will. I was more annoyed than impressed.
I have never liked Britney Spear and any artistes who behave like her. There are many other better role models for kids to emulate in life.
From my observation(limited though), the media tends to make bad things popular by making them 'socially acceptable' for wide-eyed teenagers. I have ever heard many kids in my school describe the 'impersonator' as 'great', 'cool' and 'daring' . The way they imitate him disgusts me.
I am sure many parents and teachers will suffer a permanent headache if more kids start acting like the boy.
Thank you, Tyme and Seopher. Mike, have a nice day.
Before becoming a teacher , I had been an enumerator in the Statistics Department for three years. my colleagues and I always went travelling around doing household expenditure surveys in the interior sites of my hometown Miri. After completing the tedious job, our office driver would pick us up and play the band songs on the cassette player in the office-owned four wheel drive along our homeward-bound journey. I remember their 'Still Loving You' the most. It was thrilling to have the melody surround me while Suaji, the driver, was taking us on a speedy ride down the highway into descending twilight. To achieve an utmost satisfaction, remember to wind down the windows and let all strongly-gushing in wind brush against your cheeks and whip through your hair. My soul will gyrate to each beat of the song whenever I hearken to its electrifying music and the lead singer's powerful voice. A few moments after the song finishes, I can still feel it deeply echoed in my heart and my eyes will turn misty. The feeling has nothing to do with sadness but because of a sudden realization that love is the greatest thing of all and that it is insuppressible..
What do you think of this song?

What surprises me is that my sister hardly wears lipstick. She wears balm instead. I also wear it to keep my lips moist. I am a man who can hardly feel all right without wearing lip balm. My lips become dry easily.
Mine is relatively poor compared to all of yours --- twenty-five....twelve of them are Malaysia's patriotic songs.......

I read the Chinese and the English versions interchangeably.
I find it more affectionate to read the former in the comfort of my home because my thoughts are in Chinese.
I read the latter with my friends in church. We discuss the contents in English.
Sometimes I find every thing lost and empty but they come back in abundance in the end.
@Shadowsun,
Thanks for making CNY clearer to others.
Blessed Chinese New Year.
Have you ever joined in the fun of the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration with your Chinese friends? Like many other Malaysian Chinese, I share the joy with my multi-racial friends through the practice of open-house. We make every one a highly- honoured guest by serving them the best of meals and entertainments. Ang Pows, or red packets with money inside are generously given to their children as well. Even the local lion dance troupes are largely made up of non-Chinese. It's not a surprise to see many being able to sing or hum Chinese New Year songs. They also light firecrackers and launch fireworks as though the occasion were theirs.
Friends, Have you ever engaged in the festival? Please feel free to tell me your view or observation.
100 score to you, Scrivs. Congratulations!
There are some English words that sound quite the same as Chinese. Let's say them together:
Water Island Chicken Sea.
All the syllables sound like:
My Lover goes to a movie
Water --My(Chinese)
Island--Lover(Chinese)
Chicken --goes to (Chinese)
sea -- a movie(Chinese)
I will never stop blogging, unless when I am busy or sick.
However, I may consider quitting if I have to pay for it.
Thanks, Tyme. The information is very useful.
