It's not often I get heated, but when i do, fear my literary wrath!!! In those cases, of which there are probably too, it's more of a vent yeah, I'm not preaching as such.
When I need to though, I just crack out the psychic powers ya kno.

Um ... over 9000!!!!
or 30, whatever you prefer really.
At the moment, probably World of Warcraft and Rugby :) Can't really get by without reading-about/watching/playing either of them everyday. It's how I roll I guess :)
No money made from mine, not enough traffic to make it worth the investment at the moment. If it was more topic-centered, rahther than big old mess, meh maybe :)
Aww that is damn cute! His poor face though, he didnt half land on it most the time :)
I was thinking about this while coding my current project, a property website, and adding a few things to my utility.php file. There are couple of little tidbits/snippets that I've come up with which I could definitely not do without that I've come up with myself (i.e. are not built-in)
I was wondering if anyone else was willing to share theirs, regardless of your programming languange :)
Here's one of my more simple ones ... okay it's not at all impressive, but it saves me a good deal of time when creating/testing a system. It always annoyed me how the php function print_r() was always displayed in a huge inline fashion, and I had to wrap
tags everytime I wanted to make sense of it, so I made:
function print_p($arr)
{
echo '';';
print_r($arr);
echo '
}
?>Like I said, just a simple example, don't scold me for it's simplicity :)
CSSRemix and BestWebGallery. They may not update everyday like other galleries out there but the entries are always top drawer.
Everyone (hopefully) knows the exploits of this group of charming lads from posh-land (and Terry Gilliam), but I've always found it hard to agree on a favourite, so why don't you lot share you're opinions too?
My personal favourite would probably be the Argument Clinic, found here for your viewing pleasure. Very well written, cracks me up everytime :)
Full Metal Alchemist for the story, still a fantastic tale, Mononoke too, but in terms of looks, Champloo or the Ghost in the Shell works. Hot stuff.
hehe SM was quite fun back then rite Zombie :) oh the shame
first I watched has to be The Guyver at my uncles house, wonderfully violent for my supple 8 year old mind.
A couple of fights for me:
Cell vs Gohan (nostalgia mmm)
Gaara vs Rock Lee
Luffy vs Rob Lucci
and i agree with you Dax, all one piece fights are awesome :)
Diagrams always help :). Anyone that understands how the internet works will probably be considered geekish for a while to come now, but eventually it will all change, and we will become the new paragons of industrial growth. GEEKS NEVER RETREAT! GEEKS NEVER SURRENDER! *cough*
Ouch that is low. Wouldn't have seemed so bad had he not used the same background image.
I've been using Wordpress as basic CMS for clients for a while now, and one of the processes involved is customizing the back-end to suit each site's individual structures. Part of this means, at least to us, changing the default login screen (i.e. the blue Wordpress one).
I eventually made a custom one on for my site, even though I know that I'm running a wordpress, purely for looks.
Any other wordpress users customize their login? Or your admin section?
I've been told many times that the whole 'teeth falling out' dream relates to anxiety or nerves. My whole family get this dream when they have big appointments, or in my case rugby matches, the next day.
Does sound a lot like Freeman doesn't it?
Good on you for sharing this mate, quite a magical video.
Nobuo Uematsu's work: Most of his stuff is timeless, and he has an ear for a great lick or riff. Case in point: Final Fantasy (All games) and Kingdom Hearts. Any man who can made something memorable with a midi format deserves heaps of praise.
I'm playing ...
Flash Portal Edition (I strongly recommend this)
EA Rugby 08
and I'm waiting on Zelda The Phantom Hourglass!
Not only CSS3 but also HTML 5 ... can't wait,
Unfortunately, IE won't support it until version 13 Im guessing, and by that type we'll have browsers in our fridges anyway.
The first really fight scene that took my breath away had to be Perfect Cell vs Son Gohan from DBZ. What a spectacle.
Greed vs Edward Elric is pretty fantastic, as is Gaara vs Rock Lee, when all those 'Gates' get opened, insane! That was the first episode of Naruto I saw in fact, still awesome.
Recently, the one that took me back, was in One Piece as Griffith has already mentioned: Luffy VS Blueno. In fact, I'm going to go watch it now. :)
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is any tool for Safari similar to Firebug for Firefox. Specifically the HTML console which updates live when javascript is running etc. Any help would be really appreciated :)
(Ah my bad, wrong community! can someone move this if possible? thanks :P )
He looks seriously demonic, and I thinks that's good if you think of all the messed-up things he did.
Going out on a bit of a limb here ... just hoping to find anyone here who is interested in the smashing sport of Rugby Union, and watched this years Rugby World Cup!
If anyone is getting this, share some thoughts!
I'm going to start off just by saying that my team of the tournament has to be Los Pumas (Argentina). They epitomized the spirit of the amateur ethos, but with the power, pace and guile of a fulyl professional outfit. Let's be honest, they beat 3 of the 6 Nations team in 3 weeks, and beat France twice. It's ufortunate that they ran otu of steam again a clinical South Africa, but then again, the last time Argentina had to play 5 test matches in a row was ... well ... last World Cup! Anyway, they were always entertaining, can't wait to see Hernandez back in Stade Francais colours!
