Let's do something fun and simple. Post a youtube video of an awesome song that you like and then do a small write up on why you like it.
I like the "New Pornographer's" "The Laws Have Changed". It's a pretty cool music video/song. First: The New Pornographers? Awesome name for a band. Second the song just sounds cool. Third the video actually makes some sense if you can listen to the lyrics.
"What will be revealed today? When we peer into the great unknown." Great stuff.

The Eurythmics were never one one my favourite bands, but with this song they did something very different - different for them, and just different to what everybody else was doing to.
It's seems harder for people to branch out and experiment these days - especially on things that are released as singles.
Anyway, here goes...
Eurythmics - Beethoven (I love to listen to)

I'll be back to do this later. I have a crew of people waiting for me to exhibit my skills at making gingerbread cookies from a package.
It will also give me time to look around and see what I want to choose. I'm sure we could all choose at least a hundred.
Both excellent choices, so far though.

I was feeling nostalgic today and was thinking of writing a post about forgotten memories and songs. This one came up in my mind...so many memories
The specific memory that this song ignites is remembering the twin red-haired girls in one of my classes in the 8th grade. I don't remember what the class was, but I'll never forget those girls.
Jiminy. It was my first memory of Texas after moving from Florida. I remembered thinking that I was going to like it here.

Tenacious D "Wonderboy". They always have great lyrics, walk the fine line between serious rock and tongue in cheek humor, but above all, the music is always great!
