Pixar are simply brilliant story tellers. How they come up with these concepts is beyond me.

I thought it was truly excellent. We saw it when we went to see Ratatouille.

Marvellous.
I'm so glad that they still make these little shots rather than concentrating on the big money makers

They're always superb. Personally I think their best one was the first one, called "For the Birds" if I remember correctly.

Pretty sure "For the BIrds" was in front of Monsters Inc. That one was excellent. My dog got a hoot out of listening to the birds squawk.
The first one though was the lead in for Toy Story, and it was called "Gerry's game". Where that old dude played chess with himself. Also fabulous. Tough to pick which one was my all time fave.

Neither For the birds or Geri's game were first.
The first was Luxo Jr and it was created by John Lasseter before Pixar made any feature length movies. There were actually 6 shorts made by Pixar before Geri's game. Luxo is the little lamp you see at the start of all Pixar movies.
I saw Lifted at a press screening of Ratatouille last week (Ratatouille isn't out yet in England) - and thoght it was fabulous, as was the film that followed it. I've been a huge fan of Pixar, ever since I saw Toy Story - they're the reason I did a degree in Digital Art :)

Ah of course! Luxo, how could I forget that. The lamp and the ball. Thanks for that Binary.
Remarkable how Pixar keeps rolling out goldnuggets. Looking forward to their robot movie, right up my alley.
