I got sick of Last Resort from playing the hell out of it during the beta release a few months back. So far, though, my favorite maps are Guardian and The Pit.

Sandtrap is probably my favorite out of all of them. I've only played it here and there so far as I'm waiting to buy my own Xbox360. I was unsure of whether or not to fork over the money for it, but after playing Halo 3, I'm definitely going to. It's totally worth it.

I'm partial to Valhalla personally. I'm a banshee whore... so that's probably why I like it so much.

Sandtrap is fun with huge groups of people. Anyone played the rocket race gametype? First time I played that was with a big group on Sandtrap, and that's all we played all night.

Carmody, I completely forgot about Valhalla. Actually...there were only a couple maps that I wasn't into.

JPhill, I did that when I was with my nephew. I loved it. However, I'm more of a campaign guy myself.

I am rather enjoying Snowbound and Construct. I am a total noob to the entire Halo franchise but am really enjoying it and holding my own more than I thought I would.

For Lone Wolves I love Snowbound, mostly because I'm a Ghost whore and can get 20 kills with it easily. After that I'm pretty partial to Sandtrap for Big Team Battle because it's fucking huge and has the incredibly awesome Brute Chopper on it, another vehicle I turn into my personal death machine.

JPhill: I just played my first game of Rocket Race last night. It was great (we played on Valhalla though). Addictive.

My Favorites are Valhalla and The Pit.

I'm really hoping for some new maps that are smaller, all the maps in Halo 3 are far too big.

Yeah I noticed that too. Overall, I think I liked the Halo 2 maps at first better than my first impression of Halo 3 maps. I'm hoping they bring more into the game in the near future.

I know what you mean. I spend a lot of time running around looking for someone to kill.

CarsonClay: I'm the opposite - When I first logged into Halo 3 I thought "Finally some room!" Halo 2 maps were a little too small (especially for Big Team Battles).

I'd like to see some smaller maps for 1v1 and double team, but otherwise - I'd just like to see more maps in general.

For my favorite it would probably be Guardian for simple Team Slayer fun; with Sandtrap coming in a close second for a larger party or if playing high-speed Infection with friends.
