Now I am studying in the University and will graduate as a marketologist in 2012.
What do you think: will marketologists be demanded in the future?
And in what other spheres they could work?

Thanks for the answers :)

Ummm, What the heck is a marketologist?

If I take apart the word, I get "the study of markets". What does that mean? What college are you attending and where?

I would say yes and you will get paid a lot only because jobs that nobody has heard about or know what the hell they do seem to make some nice coin.

I think marketing is in very high demand in all forms of business and also education. Public fields once supplied by the government will start to compete in the marketplace. We are already seeing this in education through vouchers.

Everything is going your way!

But even if it weren't, I would say the ability to market yourself and products is a key skill for any job out there.

Good choice!

RightOn, auburn, oh, maybe I was a bit incorrect in the definitions :)

Marketologist = the expert in marketing.

auburn, I sudy at Murmansk State Technical University.

Scrivs, yeah, it's nice ;))

rileycentral, oh, I'm glad to hear that marketing is in a high demand in all spheres :)

And I've got one more question connected with this topic:
How much does it paid to the experts of marketing in your country?

Well in the U.S. that word doesn't exist, what you're describing is basically the profession of being a "Marketer" and it means different things (and has different pay scales) completely dependent on the industry you're in, the products you're marketing, and how successful of a marketer you are.

I'm now a Blogologist and Networkologist. NVA has inspired me to step forward and claim my titles.

What is "NVA"?

It's your name, but with an 'N' because my 'K' was broken last night. Now it's fixed. It's a miracle!

I had such a variant of this word ;))
