Don't get me wrong Nick definitely has some good qualities, but what was Mariah thinking? They were only dating for a short time and then up and get married. Why not just date for a while? What do you think?

Yeah seriously. Did I also hear that she married him without a prenup? Or is that just fodder?

It will be interesting to see how long this lasts. She said she's never felt a love like this and I guess she's feeling it so much she had "Mrs. Nick Cannon" tattooed on her back.
But she wasn't "so" into it she didn't get a prenup. :)
If it wasn't for her saying she didn't want to have kids not too long ago I would wonder if she was pregnant. I wish them the best and I hope she doesn't suffer the same fate as the women before her.

I think Nick Cannon is one of the corniest people in Hollywood. I don't see that relationship lasting though.

From the article estarla linked to:
That's infatuation not love. Their relationship hasn't had a true test, hasn't endure anything. In March she said she wasn't thinking about kids and in May she's talking about their children. I want to see how long she keeps up this bubbly, nice, eternally 12 thing she has going on because it's "not" her norm.
But she said she always had a crush on him. Putting myself in her shoes, at one time if LL Cool J were to all of a sudden want to marry me...I think I would have said yes, let's talk to the attorney about that prenup lol.

@Tyme I am with you on the LL Cool J thing, except I have been happily married for 20+ years so I guess LL would have been out of luck.

I know celebrity gossip is fun and all, but these drive-by marriages are nothing new.
I know people who aren't famous whom I've felt didn't spend enough time getting to know each other and they've proven me wrong. From that I've learned not to impose my values on others, because everyone's different. If they felt like they were ready, oh well, more power to them. Like my friend Audra always says, "It's your funeral."
Besides Mariah's not exactly known for being mature.

All my celeb favorites are getting knocked up and tying the knot and the new up and comers just don't do it for me. My time is running short.
