Fundraising ideas (trying to get into the KaosPilots)

I'm trying to get into the KaosPilots, one of the best social enterprise and business design schools in the world (it's in Denmark). Getting in isn't really much of a headache (my chances are pretty good) - however, my main issue is money.

I come from Malaysia and am doing a degree in Australia, and funding opportunities are minimal. (I've got a couple that look promising, but nothing confirmed.) The school is working on scholarships, but again, nothing set in stone. I've hassled the Denmark Ministry of Education/CIRIUS to no end and they've got nothing for me.

I'm looking for more creative and out-of-the-box (but effective!) ways of raising funds and getting sponsors. I'm thinking of doing an event or two, and I have a blog that documents my process, but I could use more help.

Do you have any ideas or resources I could follow up? What can I do to raise enough funds to afford being a KaosPilot?
