Hi all. I've just finished designing a labs section for my site and I was hoping for a bit of critique from you guys. I haven't started adding the "experiments" yet, as I want to perfect the design. Also, there are a few markup errors but I'm gonna fix them. Just comments on design, layout, oh and any typos you find ;)
Thanks! Harry.

Hello Harry.
There's actually a whole clique devoted to Design Critique, so don't be surprised if this note suddenly gets swooped in there.
The design looks pretty good! Like the color scheme, my taste. Some things that bug me that you might consider changing:
Not really a critique I expect you to change, but the PR-Design Labs font seems overly complex. I had a hard time reading it, and I used to do graffiti in another life. It has its charm — but you should know that it might give visitors unfamiliar with the name a hard time.

Cool, I'm gonna sort all those out when I get back in from school. I agree with margins on the headings:paragraph on the about page. I'll also have a dabble with margins on the info boxes. I'm actually after a alternative to the vial so that too. Nice one, thanks :)

Right, I've started filling the site with free content so you can start downloading! I'm still looking for a replacement image for the vial though.

I don't know what browser/OS you are using but the fonts look very aliased on a Windoze computer. I'm sure they look fine in OSX but I was browsing at school and thought is looked weird.

It's a good start. I agree with davekoen about the font, it was the first thing that stood out for me. Maybe because you have the font in italics. Also from a branding point, I have pretty good resolution on my screen so when I view your site, your logo is Waaaayyyy off to the left. It would be nice if you could keep it positioned with the left edge of your content.
Other than that, like I said, it's a nice start. I like the colors and your approach.
Stick with it.

I agree with hthth about the logo font. It's barely readable. Particularly the E and S -- they barely very little resemblance to the letters they depict.
And I'm afraid the Trebuchet/Georgia combination looks awful. Especially in italics and all caps. They're too chunky and cramped.
