I'm not a 9r, but I think it is too wide. For some reason it hits me in the face, at least on the computer I am using now. There is no side space and it appears a little overwhelming, all that writing.
I think the logo may scream Web 2.0 too loudly. Also, the header (at least, the nav) is just begging to light up when you hover over it. It looks a tad too dark right now.
There could also be a bit more whitespace around the page, like on the sides, and some sidebar content. I don't think the links being in a big cloud is very efficient, and doesn't look very good in my opinion. The dots next to the links could use a bit more spacing as well.
Other than that, I like it. The Silk icons are great.
One bug I see is that the dates appear above where they should be, at least in Safari. I think the problem may be that you floated them to the right and set a margin to shift them up when they appeared below their place in Firefox (just guessing :P). A very easy fix for that is to put the floated element before the part that appears on the left.
Example:
(title, normal)
(date, floated to the right with margin)
To:
(date, floated to the right without any margins)
(title, normal)
From what I've tested this works fine in all browsers. I use floats a lot. :P
Cooper's right. The lack of white space and the width of the text don't make me feel good about the site. It doesn't invite me in to read, it pushes me away.
(When I said "9r opinions", I meant "9r notes users'" opinions)!
From the feedback, it seems like I should not go with the fluid width, and go back to the fixed width. What originally bothered me about this is the excessive whitespace on wider screens, but apparently this is desired.
It's much better than your earlier theme! Good job. I like the header.
I agree with the aforementioned comments on width. I loathe reading sites where I either have to move my eyes back and forth, or alternatively resize my window.
Something else. I think you should try and make a clearer distinction of where entries begin and end. As it is, it's a bit difficult to discern entries because everything looks similar. This isn't a major flaw, and wouldn't prevent me from reading your blog. But I think that, for example, making entry titles the same color as your logo would improve the overall readability.

Looks like I have some work to do.
Thanks again!!

Or you could set it to a lower percentage fluid width, such as 90% (just guessing).

I also agree with the others on having more whitespace.
