What is your all time favorite color?
Mine is Paynes Grey... I dunno, I'm just not a vibrant color person and it's such a calming color.

Did Avuee take over RightOn's login?
(Would you kill me if I said my favorite color is "State Blue")
Actually I've always been a color combo person. I don't like individual colors so much as I like groups of colors. Blue/Black, Tan/Maroon, Yellow/Red. Of course if I had to pick one, it'd probably be Orange.

Gnorb is full of it today!
I love chocolate brown. I wear a lot of brown. I like cozy brown rooms. I like brown and white pillows. I like eating chocolate. Mm!

Green - usually the more muted brown greens but I do like lime green also. I sort of have a mild obsession with browns and earth tones along with green. I generally prefer the muted colours and sad to admit it but most of my wardrobe is brown. grey or green.

LOL @ Gnorb... hey there are annoying one liner notes.
How would you elaborate my note asking what your favorite color is?

I do love green and black, but not ncessarily together. I have a lot of green clothes. And black clothes. Curious, huh?

I used to be totally hooked on purple to the point I painted my entire room purple and have spent the last six years whenever I've gone back to my parents living in a claustrophobic chocolate box. Sixteen year olds are NOT good interior decorators for the record!
Whilst I still like purple, I've found myself preferring maroon and turquoise. Those are the two colours that work best on my clothing wise. All black (whist practical) has a tendency to drain me. White and pale colours just make me look like a ghost. Heaven help me if I ever get married!

@James - Well, it would be good to link to some recent article/findings about how colors/clothing/surroundings affect people and then ask them to consider that.
I've been wearing a lot of black lately, but that's mostly laziness/I found the perfect black dress at the Gap and bought 5 of them. I kid you not.
In terms of surroundings, I love jewel tones. My first apartment in Texas was swathed in deep oranges and maroons and golds. Though, for bathrooms I want cool blues and sea greens.
My usual before-design begins default colors for a blog/site are blues. I find that they aren't distracting when I'm trying to figure out options.

@RighOn:
Explain the reasons, maybe a few runner ups, why your blog is/isn't that color, what effect that color has on you, which color you hate, when you started liking that color... I've been going to the Tony Snow school of saying something while still saying absolutely nothing so I could keep this going all day.
@Alisa:
Uhm... thank you?

My blog is not the color green.
Instead, it is largely black, grey and pink. This is because of pure chance. I don't even like the color pink all that much. Grey is all right--it is like a lighter version of black since mixed with white it yields grey, so it is still black-related and consistent with my earlier response of liking black.
The fact that my blog does not have green in it does not lessen my love for green, though it might be easy to assume that I was lying the first time around about liking green.
Perhaps my next blog design will have green in it.

My blog design is green. Very green. It is the color I wanted to base the initial design around and it remains. The next iteration will retain the green but will add some complexity. As much as I love to design for others, I can never seem to get anything for myself. Perhaps one day I can fix this. :)

I LOVE BLUE!!! Not grey. Grey is just too... Blah. But I get that you don't like vibrant colors. Oh, and I'm kinda new to this whole thingy so could someone like maybe help me learn things about this website? :)

My favorite color is purple, and I like every hue of it. My favorite shade of purple would be lavender, as I find it to be a very soft and soothing color. I have a retreat area off of my bedroom with lavender accessories...chaise lounge, velvet throw, pillows, etc. Whenever I sit in there and read, I feel as if I am in serene surroundings.

I love green but not just any shade of green. The deep, dark greens of trees and all growing things. Most of my home is decorated with hunter green.
