Hi, I have this blog (macamour.com/blog/) and I'm looking for a good background since 2 months, and I really can't find anything that could fits the website

body { background:#fff; }

Web 2.0 enough?

Edit: After seeing the site, why do you want a "web 2.0" background? Your site isn't exactly "web 2.0". Man I hate that term.

Because I want it to "look like" a web 2.0 site, d'you have another suggestion?

A "web 2.0" style is not in the background. It's all how the content is displayed and how its contained, with the use of open space. If you want web 2.0 so bad, you'd need to look in the way of a total redesign, IMO. your current style is a little grungey, while web 2.0 is sharp/smooth and clean.

Here's where a great many web 2.0 websites seem to get their background patterns:

I have some in my site and I see them all over the place.

Gradients! Gradients and more Gradients!

Gradients, Pez, and Unicorns. That about sums up Web 2.0 for me these days.

Well to quote Bash.org

<dsully> please describe web 2.0 to me in 2 sentences or less.
<jwb> you make all the content. they keep all the revenue.

You are my hero for quoting bash.org :D

Nice summary, oniTony

Seriously though, are you guys still on Web 2.0 - I'm so Web 2.1.7 rc 9-8a.

Web 2.0 is nothing more than media hype to get people to care. Current "web 2.0" sites are just the natural evolution of the web.

It's like calling cable "TV 2.0". it makes no sense.

Thanks for the link Stegg!

"Fixed" this problem by changing completely the look of my blog ;)

malitic: thank you.
