I think this marks the first time I agree with fuscom in just about anything.

Life is full of surprises, Gnorb

What I find most exciting about his presentation, is that it seems the natural gas / wind change off is only the first phase, seeing he mentioned the other alternatives as well. Right now, his company is big into both wind and natural gas. But I believe he's still involved, or used to be, with coal as well.

I don't know if this'll actually work, seems the biggest challenge (seeing that he's already building a huge windfarm) would be the building of mass natural gas stations across the country.

I guess it's just refreshing to see someone (even as unconventional and controversial as Pickens') come up with a plan, and present it without me feeling as if I've been through the spin cycle, or soon to be victim of some hidden agenda.

I know he has an agenda -- to make gobs of money and put Mesa Energy on an even bigger platform than it already is. However, if his plan has any meat to it, I'm happy to contribute to his and his company's financial coffers.

It makes too much sense. It'll never fly. Which is unfortunate because I agree with just about everything he said in the video. (I say just about everything because I don't know enough about natural gas to say whether I agree or don't.)

I think this marks the first time I agree with fuscom in just about anything.

T. Boone Pickens has a plan to radically change the way the US consumes it's energy.

Forget the flip-flopping and New Yorker magazine covers. No more radical preachers and psychiatrist economists to muddy up the waters of necessary change.

This man has plan which is well presented, well thought out, well organized, big and complex, yet simple and relatively quick to execute, given people get on board.

I like it. Check it out (all you have to do is watch the short video to understand it in it's entirety) and offer your opinion.
