I liked the introduction of Norse mythological characters in the book, which actually gave the story line away to me. The end was predictable.
Immigration, quest, assimilation, transformation, he wrote it all in there, but my interest wasn't held, in the end.
Meh .... Gaiman touched on some grand ideas but didn't go very deep; I was mildly interested in the story, but not emotionally invested.
