I don't know if I can pick an all-time favorite song but I've got a couple that really rank up there for me -- more so for when they came out and reminding me of my friends and what I was doing at the time than for the lyricism or beats.
I think putting Biggie in here is a safe bet, you could probably find at least 5 of his songs that could go into a thread like this and not even be looked at twice.
Definitely all good choices. I got one more I just thought of, and this is one of the songs that got me into hip hop. It's funny that after the movie 8 mile came out, a lot of people jocked this song.....especially in Michigan
