Last night I went farming for some mats to get some jewelcrafting recipes and this was really the first time I spent a large portion of time simply grinding mobs out to farm. I've tried before, but I tend to want to move on after a while and it seems like I am doing it forever when it gets tedious. This time it wasn't so bad. I needed to get 80 Osh'gun Crystal Powders to turn into Halaa for Mystic Dawnstone and Steady Talasite.
This required killing a lot of ogres for a while. I didn't keep track of time, but I got a lot of cool stuff along with some beads to turn in for rep so it worked out nicely.
Next I decided I would farm for the Chaotic Skyfire Diamond recipe which only drops off of Coilskar Sirens. After killing about 21 of them it dropped so I was very pleased. This took about 40 minutes, but seemed like forever because you have to kill everything in the area, but in the end when I look back I realize it wasn't that bad.
Now I think I will farm mining and herb nodes to make some money because farming isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just stay away from my stuff.

I hate farming.... it's a horrible grind. I don't often get any good stuff.
