I 've been reading for the pagerank drops for users that earn money through TLA. Recently my blog got accepted by TLA for publishing ads.
As I see the plugin they give for WordPress uses javascript and generates links (which probably means that they look like usual links and not sponsored) and their affiliate banners seem to link to textlinkads.com via tiny urls. Does this mean that their code and banners trick google for not penalizing their publishers?
Is it safe for my incoming traffic to use tla? I do not want to risk loosing search traffic as its 53% of my blog's total visits!
It would be greatly appreciated if someone with experience with the TLA javascript plugin installed for a while post his experience!

Well from what I've heard (and experienced), whatever Pagerank drop occurred has had little to no effect on search engine traffic. i think it was a ploy and that the real pagerank of sites is still kept on Google's servers.

I used tla "in post", and had their plugin activated. The pagerank on my site that used it dropped, the page rank on my site that did not use it did not drop despite having half only one quarter of the traffic and one eighth of the back links that the site with in post tls's and drop in page rank had.
I have no idea whether my blog sucked more and dropped that could seriously be the case, but I doubt it. I don't think that you should let Google dictate whether you use tla them or not. I was actually making pretty decent bucks for in post text ads that I don't really think anyone ever saw and my traffic is the same as always.

I've been using TLA InLinks (their service that has keywords linked in entries) for about 6 months and have experienced no change in pagerank whatsoever, and, if anything, more Google traffic. I'm not worried. But I never was, either. Pagerank, schmagerank.
