Everyone has list of software, but i'm interested in what hardware people are using to blog. For example, are there smartphones or cell phones, video cameras, voice recorders, webcams, etc., that you prefer to use with blogs or website development?

I just use my Macs when I'm at home, and my iPhone when I'm traveling. I don't really write blog entries on my iPhone, but I do tend to comment a bit if I feel somebody needs to get served as soon as possible.

PowerMac and iBook.

I use my Treo occassionally. Also, I just found that Polycom has a new device that is Skype certified that I'm really interested in, given their quality and mainstay in most business conference rooms.

I use anything with a keyboard, a monitor, and an Internet connection. Sometimes I write my post on paper first. Wonderful thing, blogging - doesn't matter what platform I work on. Five bucks to the guy who creates a firefox machine.

We'll lets be pedantic:

My chair, desk, keyboard, mouse, computer.
A network switch, the router it's connected to, its ADSL modem and the CAT6 cabling connecting them all up.
The copper cabling leading to the exchange, the exchange itself, the fibre leading off to the ISP.
The servers at the ISP, all the nodes between my ISP and my host.
My host's network, including: routers, switches, firewalls, web and database servers and storage arrays.

But is a blog a blog if nobody reads it? There's the return route to users.

My Macbook. I can do it on a PC, too, but there's something about that keyboard. I have one of the flac Mac keyboards and plug that into my wife's Dell laptop whenever I'm using it because it's more comfortable for me to use to that to write than to use the attached keyboard. It's just... something about the keys. (So I guess the answer is "an Apple keyboard." The rest is negotiable.)

I use my Dell @ work, my iBook @ home and depending on the length of the post, I sometimes use my iPod Touch to blog.

A monkey and a typewriter.

Other than the obvious laptop or desktop computer.
iPod Touch? That's interesting.

There is a WordPress plugin that enables an iPhone like interface for the admin backend.

I use that from time to time to post to my blog if it's something short.
