The Gallardo is unquestionably a quality ride, and with the LP550 about to be displayed in Geneva, its getting even better.
My question is: should all lambo's have the vertical doors, and the reason I ask that, is because personally I think thats what make a Lamborghini authentic.
Sure Lambo doesn't want the Gallardo to eat too much into the Murcie market share and create duplication, but really, I say a Lambo is a Lambo....have stock vertical doors on all Lambo's. In the end I think it'll build the brand.
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Mike

I think having the vertical doors is not only a brand statement, but also a nod to the price and what a car that expensive should have on it. It's not an everyday car, it's a high-performance sports car, and anything Lamborghini can do to separate itself from its competitors is a good thing.

Absolutely. Whenever a guy at a car show is discussing the mods he's made to his ride, he doesn't say it's got doors that swing vertically. He says it's got "Lambo doors". Like Mike said, it's part of what makes a Lamborghini a Lamborghini.
