Basically what is your favourite medium you use when you create artworks?

For me, I can't get past the classic graphite, although I do like experiment a bit with pastels and acrylics. I'm not a really big fan of computer created graphics. Well I mean I like computer created graphics, but I'm not really good at it.

I like to make a mess. Out of chaos comes order, so I make sure there's plenty of chaos from the beginning. Usually this means charcoal and a shammy cloth for drawings, and all manner of liquids and pastes for anything more.

Graphite.

I'm a big fan of good 'ol paper and pencil.

I'm artistically retarded when it comes to manipulation (in its true sense -- doing anything with my hands).

I am quite happy in a vector imaging program or using my camera and photoshop but neither of those really count as one medium.

I do a lot of program/flow charts/etc on paper with a biro/pencil though... funny how those things work =) It's much easier to scribble things down on paper than it is on a computer

A simple text editor with a place for notes is all I need.

Most often pencil, these days.

wacom pencil ;)

I mostly use fabric, paint, and anything else I can sew together with it. I guess you'd call it mixed media, but that's so general. I call it textile art or fabric art, usually. But it's also a little bit like sculpture, depending on the piece and materials.

Is "eclectic" a medium? :)

Sterling Silver, Brass or Aluminum

Food. Otherwise, paper and pencil.

Wait, you mean that drawing stuff? That's easy: clip art.

Food!? Pic or it didn't happen.

I sewed a teapot out of tea bags. But tea isn't really food, is it?

Acrylics! WOO!!!!

twisted: A teapot out of tea bags? How exquisitely meta.

I use both digital and film cameras in my photography.

I use yellow legal pads when I write. Yes, I write in longhand first, and then transfer what I have written to my computer.

I often create inspirational photographs, combining both a picture and a quotation of mine.

Acrylic is my favorite - in combination with Pastel which is unfortunate because you can't fixate it.

You can see a sample of what I mean at :

Ah, EDIT is bugged, so here is the link correctly embedded : acryl with pastel sample
