Just curious to get a read on what features in Leopard the 9rules Apple community is most looking forward to.
Personally, I can't wait for Time Machine and the new Mail improvements. I need a better back-up solution in a bad way.
What's yours?

Spaces. I've used third party apps for the same goal for a long time, It'll be interesting to see apple's touch on it.
Also curious about the much rumored "unrevealed" features.

1. Mail - I spend so much time in my inbox, I need the improved features.
2. Time Machine - My data is so important, I need to keep it safe.

I can't wait for it not to work on my iBook.
I know I have little room to complain, I just can't use it.

I can't wait for iCal sharing!!! There are some gread 3rd party apps and services out there, but I would love to see iCal sharing become a 2-way street.

I'm interested in knowing exactly what Time Machine can do — and how it works. Given the new Airport that allows you to interface a portable HD through wifi, I'm excited to see if TM will be able to backup directly through it.
But I'd have to agree that I'm hoping for some killer unrevealed features.

Mail, Ruby on Rails support, and that amazing feature we don't know about, and the new finder ;)

Please, please, please a unified UI! And SMS functionality in iCal (ala Google Calendar). I tried using Spanning Sync but it always deleted a bunch of events in my Google Calendar.

I'm looking forward to the new mail as well... I want to get rid of the Microsoft office app I'm using now. I'm also stoked on Time Machine.

Um, the Todo item function will be useful. I though I'd seen somewhere that there was multiple user accounts in Mail 3, but I couldn't see that when I checked just now. Maybe I just imagined that feature? It would be useful though rather than having to create a separate user account which is what you have to do now.

The feature I'm longing for is to be able to control my home from my new iPhone. Yes. Call me crazy. But I have a feeling that we will all be walking around out homes like Commander Koenig on Moon Base Alpha. Opening our doors with the iPhone. "Sorry classical reference, had to be done"
And I also look forward to Spaces and Mail.

I'm looking forward to Spaces, but really I'm hoping for something to do with Google sync and scrapping .Mac. As well as those secret features, new UI or at least a unified UI please!

I think I like about windows is the ability to copy and past a URL-like path or directory path. It's just easier that way than typing a string out manually. Some of our files at work are buried deep within sub-directories.

I can't honestly say I'm anticipating Leopard at all. I find them quite scary. I just as soon go without!

tranism — what do you mean exactly? You mean the ability to copy and paste directory paths to the command line interface? In that case, OS X does a fine job at that.
Copy a folder or file and paste to the terminal and you'll get the path. You can also drag and drop anything to the terminal window and the path will appear. You can also copy more than one file or folder and the paths will appear consecutively.
Additionally you can drag and drop the favicon from Safari to the terminal to printout URLs. Copy a picture within the bundled iPhoto software and pasting to the terminal will reveal the underlying directory path to the photo.
Wow. I just started with copying multiple files, but this got too interesting.

wow, nice! I didn't know that. But you know how in winbloz, there's a field in the actual "finder window" for a path string? I wish something like that was in OS X so I don't have to open another app. GREAT TIP THO! Thanks man.

Ah, yeah, I haven't seen anyone do that without some kind of a hack. If you want, a quick Google search will give you some of the (dubious) options out there.
You're welcome. :-)

Mail is going to be great. Notes, RSS Feeds, To Dos all in one.
